Donald Trump has very frequently been mocked for his outside-the-box methods. But if you think about leaders in general, wouldn’t you rather have a leader that wants the best for your country than a leader who merely wants to appear popular?
My own opinion (for what it’s worth) is that President Trump is a lot smarter than people take him for.
Donald Trump’s method of resolving problems reminds me of movies where two cars are driving towards each other at speed up a narrow alley. It is clear that one driver will have the nerve to hold his line and the other will decide to swerve out of danger at the last moment. I relate this comparison to the recent meeting between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un. One moment we were on the brink of WW3 and the next moment they are shaking hands after a successful meeting.
Donald Trump’s methods are head-on confrontation – but I have to tell you something; it works.
But enough about my own little human opinions, and over to a Vulcan with a brain far superior to mine.
5 Things Spock Would Say About Donald Trump
In April 2018 President Donald Trump proposed $100 Billion in trade sanctions on Chinese goods.
What do you have to say regarding this Mr. Spock?
In the previous month, President Trump hits Russia with sanctions for meddling in the election and cyber attacks. Citing such evidence as planning an elaborate plot to hit America’s electricity plants, air travel, factories and even the water supply.
I am unsure whose side Mr. Spock is taking here…
In February the same year, the President drew up a plan to lower the cost of health insurance. The premise was simple: pay less for plans but get less coverage.
I guess you’d agree with this one Mr. Spock?
Back in January, Trump tries to irritate Kim Jong Un, even further by announcing: “Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!”
Mr. Spock, do you think that Donald Trump’s words were deeply hurtful to the North Korean leader or merely irritating?
Back in July 2017, President Donald Trump issued one of his very controversial statements suggesting that climate change is basically all fiction. His decision was to abandon the Paris Climate Agreement and turn his back on the worldwide scientific evidence proving him wrong.
Any comments Mr. Spock?
Thanks to Mr. Trump and our special guest, Mr. Spock for providing all the material for this post.
And while my intro to this post gave praise to President Trump’s leadership tactics in certain situations, it is evident that not all of his decisions are to be awarded with applause. But saying that, I can’t name a single leader to whom the title of ‘Perfection’ can be given at all times.
