It was three hours this morning until I realized that I wasn’t wearing my pump. Three hours!
Obviously this is not a good thing.
Throughout the remaining context of the article, we will be discussing the various symptoms.
A patient that has type 2 will have no insulin produced in the body, so the cells would not be reacting to them. The cells in your body need to open up so that the glucose has access to the cells. So, when there is no glucose in your cells, you will feel the lack of energy. Without energy, you will find it hard to do tasks that you once did. If you do general labor work on a regular basis, you will realize that you are no longer able to do the same job you did several weeks ago. This is one known symptom of type 2. A larger population is diagnosed with type 2 rather than type 1 diabetes.
Diabetes type 1 is a bit more severe and is harder to treat when compared with type 2. Type 1 is where the pancreas in the body is unable to produce insulin for the body. Even though both types of diabetes are different in terms of severity, they both have the same symptoms. So, just by noticing the diabetes symptoms, you may not know whether you have type 1 or type 2. If you have a wound, you may notice that it is taking much longer to heal. Diabetic patients will feel that they are thirsty often and get tired very easily. For some, their vision becomes a little blurry at times.
It is important that you take immediate action after you notice the various diabetes symptoms. Type 1 could easily develop within a few weeks and get worse really fast, so the time span you have is very short. Once you treat the diabetes in the early stages, you would be able to keep it under control with a dedicated diabetes diet plan. There are diabetes medications such as injections and pills, but they work in combination with your dietary plan. Diabetes type 2 patients are given the same treatment, but their dietary restrictions are lower.
